48. “Memo to the Called”

The pride of life & the things of this world forces its priority on us. Only as He is lifted on high all who wills to “see” will be drawn unto Him and He will be glorified! Hailed by all of creation! Worshipped as the Great I am !

Pride of Life…

Extreme is the task that lays ahead,
Gross the calamity of our flesh, soul and sinful dread,
Weaknesses that ensnares our path,
And, oh, the pride of life that tempts in our head.

Man of God…

Oh, man of God lay down your crown!
Rather dare to follow The Son instead
His ways are pure, His words are truth,
He speaks of love amongst many other gracious worth.

Before His Throne…

Have you yet considered the moment before His Throne?
When asked what did you do with love?
How many days was self your lead?
Now to reveal your recited self-righteous creed.

Feed His sheep…

Low we bow before Your greatness, Lord,
To lay down our crowns and sword,
How fallible our greatest speech,
And yet you send us to feed Your sheep.

Forgive us Lord…

Strengthen now our feeble knees,
Burn our lips with cleansing coals,
We want to make Your kingdom proud,
Not many days to sow Your Seed.

Only when Christ is lifted High…

So many still need to ‘see’ The Seed,
Grace in action our strongest feed,
His Blood was shed – not to be trample on,
Only when He is lifted up will more men come…

… In truthful worship at His feet.

46. Man at W-R with G-d and Man

Man is at w-r with G-d and Man

As we wage w-r with man and sinful seed our own lives are measured for faithful deeds. The standard being His humbled birth and selfless lead…

– Align then to His humble Birth

Nations are at w-r
and People are fighting!
Throwing words and b-mbs
Seek resolve in g-n-blaze lightning

This folly makes me wonder…
Even more so – to ponder
What is their ‘just’ thinking
This might then dissolve?

How angry are they really!
How much anger is yet to come?
Is this not the rage against
The G-d… they too belong?

Wise counsel to steer the way
Yet, No answer to our frantic prayers!
Angry at This G-d – unmoved
by our demanding charade!

Controversial challenges
Leave us unsettled and unnerved
He seemed not to care, to dare…
Left us dabbling in our despair

For this is not an easy weight
to wear His golden crown
Facing human-stumbles on our path,
reveal our fickle ground…

How rich would you have been,
Without … sincere humbling?
Relentless yield to a Higher Hand
Expose the flaws within

How angry are you really!
Perhaps enraged against This G-d
For no display of tempered clay …
But teaching us obey – HIS ways!

And now…

The poor soul at his Cross, himself
Stand in your way to Ego-Bay
Being the foe… all hell-break-loose;
And none of these to us pertain?

How angry are you really!
Why so deepened in dismay,
Have you looked into your Father’s eyes,
Witness’d grace, His Lovin’ embrace…?

[- for all He has made.]

And even so and maybe yet
It’s not a man,
But G-d…
Standing in your zealous way
At w-r; fought in your stead.

If you so would belong to (your)self
For once adhere His urgent tell!
You could have been at High-Horse-Down,
already really dead!

As yet…

His love and mercy, in and through (us)
Truth’s only source to make us new
In guilt and shame, we all fall short…
‘His glory and renown

You have a name, yes! You are of worth
But so the next, and next man down your curve
A spoken premise, is yet to be lived
In sole-align to His humble birth

Still to Him our love to prove
As weighed in even-scale domain
For the measure of His fullness’ shaped
Is found amongst the dust… and fruit

To dust… from dust, let this be known
This is His Holy Grail
Found on the trodden path
in blood-stained steps
This is…
His Holy ground!

CHRIST SOWED HIS BODY…. AS A SEED THAT DIED IN THE GROUND

THE HARVEST HE DESIRED TO REAP FROM HIS SACRIFICIAL “SOWING”, IS A BODY FOR HIM TO INDWELL – BOTH INDIVIDUAL & CORPORATE

HIS DESIRE FOR THIS BODY / THESE BODIES
IS THAT IT WILL BE A “SERVANT” FOR HIS GLORY:

A SERVANT TO SERVE THIS WORLD WITH HIS

LOVE, TRUTH, GRACE, POWER & GLORY

Heb 10:1-39

1 FOR SINCE the Law has merely a rude outline (foreshadowing) of the good things to come…

4 Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away.
5 Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer];

9 …Behold, [here] I am, coming to do Your will.

Thus He does away with and annuls the first (former) order [as a means of expiating sin] so that He might inaugurate and establish the second (latter) order. [Ps. 40:6-8.]

10 And in accordance with this will [of God],

we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the body of Jesus Christ (the Anointed One).

12 Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 Then to wait until His enemies should be made a stool beneath His feet. [Ps. 110:1.]

14 For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.

Communion2 Summary:

As YOU CELEBRATE HIS BODY broken for you and His blood that was shed for you, remember that He has done it for you as an individual person… FOR YOU ‘ALONE’ on that cross He died…

He wants to share the communion meal with you, as one of His children with whom He shares your Life-time with – explaining through His Holy Spirit deep into your heart His personal LOVE DECLARATION to you.

No matter where you are in your life right now…

HE has it covered… IN HIS BLOOD and BODY – HIS BODILY SACRIFICE – SERVING YOU with HIS ULIMATE LOVE ANNOUNCEMENT… to quicken Body, Soul & Spirit – TO LIFE!

ALLOW Him to LOVE you to the FULL measure of His DIVINE INTENT.

12. PERFECT INTIMACY with the FATHER

PERFECT INTIMACY

A God near at heart
No barrier between
Closely drawn to passion-prayer
Favoured
Finding an answer there

Looking into Divine countenance –embrace

FATHER! I do not let Him go
Never – to let Him go!

No cloud to obscure His loving face
Not dropping in & out in haste
No hurry onto next call wait
But linger longer, still relate

In silence paced…

I wait, draw near

I give time – For God to be enthroned

In my heart

I am just a trusting child
Pouring out… cries, I bear to heart

Praying The PRAYER He never fails to hear

Knowing He hears my faintest cheer

“My FATHER WHO ART… IN HEAVEN”

A PRAYER
Of Spirit,

in perfect INTIMACY with His entwined

“deep cries unto deep”

– No fear

JUST THE FATHER and His CHILD

9. A KNEELING FIGURE

COMMUIION WITH GOD ON BENDED KNEES

A kneeling figure – such a Holy attire

HE HEARS US. HE IS HERE
Psa 34:6  This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

 

A kneeling figure such a Holy attire

Yet so few to embrace this grade of fire

Somehow, so often… only in distance observed
Powerless without, yet still to be desired

Many a man to rise & fall
At the cost of kneeling – to a King or a fool

An idol brings low,
At the end of its rope

A king stretches forth His hand,
To the one serving his command

So are the hours spent in prayer
or in this World’s disarray…

TO serve the purpose &  the plan

Of the one…

OR THE ONE;

Who received his plea.

Psa 34:1-22

(2)  My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.
(3)  O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.
(4)  I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. [Psa_73:25; Mat_7:7]
(5)  They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces shall never blush for shame or be confused.
(6)  This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
(7)  The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers. [Psa_18:1; Psa_145:20]

(8)  O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. [1Pe_2:2-3]

(17)  When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.
(18)  The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.
(19)  Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
(20)  He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
(21)  Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.

Your LIGHT & Your truth will lead me

Unstoppable power
Uncontainable grace
Infinite proficiencies of God
Nothing higher
Nothing wider
Than the possibilities IN God

So easy & yet so hard to maintain
A humble heart & willing knees to PRAY
Limitless, being unaware
Of the latent power within each PRAYER

Faiths’ dynamite
Heaven’s flagship of Grace
As simple as the uttered word
Or a whisper on living waters cord

Yet tamed and retained
If not taken in daily commune
Unable to lift off in flight
Unless eaten as The Bread
– from Heaven’s Height

His RESSURECTION POWER & LOVE
an influence?
ON MY WALK,
My WAKE-UP, my TALK,
DAY & BED?

‘Oh! Lost & perverse GENERATION
How wicked you have become!’

And yet, His love is out there, STILL…!!
A lullaby song – being hum?

IT’S REAL!
HIS LOVE IS TOUGH!
IT BREAKS down hatred INTO TRUST
EXPOSE the lie, REVEALS the TRUTH
Wickedness TURNS to GOOD

THERE IS HOPE!
It all depends….
IN WHOM you PUT YOUR TRUST?

IT SAVES, IT HEALS
IT COMFORTS, REDEEMS…
The whole world CAN’T weigh IT down!

“ DO TAKE the CUP held out to you…
FILLED UP! OVERFLOWN!

LIFE-BLOOD, LOVE-PAID

NO OTHER did the same.

EAT the BREAD
Of STRIPES & LASH
TORN & SCORN-
NOT IN VAIN!

You WILL be filled!

WAKE UP, CHILD!
The TIME HAS COME
The SAVIOUR of THIS WORLD
IS AT the DOOR

WAITING…

Joh 2:18 Then the Jews retorted, What sign can You show us, seeing You do these things? [What sign, miracle, token, indication can You give us as evidence that You have authority and are commissioned to act in this way?]
Joh 2:19 Jesus answered them, Destroy (undo) this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.

His sacrifice for you on the cross & His resurrection –
the ORIGINAL reason for your mission,
the ORIGINAL source
of your authority & power received, to go…

KEEP YOUR FOCUS

Luk 1:50 And His mercy (His compassion and kindness toward the miserable and afflicted) is on those who fear Him with godly reverence, from generation to generation and age to age.

The miserable & afflicted you will serve … being yourselves aware… of your own…
In awe & gratitude, full of His praises! Blessed & highly favoured!
