6.1 SCRIPTURE PSALM 68 – ARISE! OH GOD!

Psalm 68 (KJV & AMPL)

VERSES :1-6

DAVID ASK GOD TO ARISE and APPEAR IN ALL HIS GREATNESS, PRAISE & STRENGTH

Psa 68:1-4KJV
(1) To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David.

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

(2) As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melt before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
(3) But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
(4) Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that ride upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

(5) A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
(6) God set the solitary in families: he brings out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

VERSES : 7-14

DAVID GIVES PRAISE & THANKSGIVING TO GOD FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE FOR HIM, THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL & THESE PEOPLE OF OLD…. ALSO THAT HIS MERCIES OF THE PAST WILL REMIND US THAT HIS MERCIES ARE TRUE NOW

(7) O God, when You went forth before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness
(8) The earth trembled, the heavens also poured down [rain] at the presence of God; yonder Sinai quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
(9) You, O God, did send a plentiful rain; You did restore and confirm Your heritage when it languished and was weary.
(10) Your flock found a dwelling place in it; You, O God, in Your goodness did provide for the poor and needy.

(11) The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. (KJV)
(11) The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host. (Ampl)

(12) The kings of the enemies’ armies, they flee, they flee! She who tarries at home divides the spoil [left behind].
(13) Though you [the slackers] may lie among the sheepfolds [in slothful ease, yet for Israel] the wings of a dove are covered with silver, its pinions excessively green with gold [are trophies taken from the enemy].

(14) When the Almighty scattered kings in [the land], it was as when it snows on Zalmon [a wooded hill near Shechem].

VERSES :15 – 21

HERE, DAVID THANK & PRAISE GOD ESPECIALLY FOR BEING THE GOD of ZION – A SMALL HILL, CHOSEN BY GOD TO DWELL ON; AS A TOKEN OF HIS PECULIAR PRESENCE

(15) Is Mount Bashan the high mountain of summits, Mount Bashan [east of the Jordan] the mount of God?
(16) Why do you look with grudging and envy, you many-peaked mountains, at the mountain [of the city called Zion] which God has desired for His dwelling place? Yes, the Lord will dwell in it forever.

(17) The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands. The Lord is among them as He was in Sinai, [so also] in the Holy Place (the sanctuary in Jerusalem).
(18) You have ascended on high. You have led away captive a train of vanquished foes; You have received gifts of men, yes, of the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell there with them. [Eph_4:8]

(19) Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Selah
(20) God is to us a God of deliverances and salvation; and to God the Lord belongs escape from death [setting us free].

VERSES : 22-31 (1)

GRACIOUS PROMISES OF GOD OF THE REDEMPTION OF HIS PEOPLE & THEIR VICTORY OVER THEIR ENEMIES. HE PROMISES THAT HE WILL DO GREAT THINGS FOR THEM (2) HIS PEOPLE WILL START TO DICOVERY HIS GRACE IN HIS WORKS & WORD(3) HIS POWERFUL INVITATION & INTRODUCTION INTO HIS KINGDOM; FOR THE GENTILES TO COME IN

(22) The Lord said, I will bring back [your enemies] from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the [Red] Sea,

(24) They see Your goings, O God, even the [solemn processions] of my God, my King, into the sanctuary [in holiness].
(25) The singers go in front, the players on instruments last; between them the maidens are playing on tambourines.
(26) Bless, give thanks, and gratefully praise God in full congregations, even the Lord, O you who are from [Jacob] the fountain of Israel.

(28) Your God has commanded your strength [your might in His service and impenetrable hardness to temptation]; O God, display Your might and strengthen what You have wrought for us!
(29) [Out of respect] for Your temple at Jerusalem kings shall bring gifts to You.

(31) Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall hasten to stretch out her hands [with the offerings of submission] to God.

VERSES : 32-35

HERE WE FIND A PASIONATE INVITATION TO THE GENTILES TO COME & JOIN IN PRAISE OF HIS GREATNESS, POWER & STRENGTH

(32) Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praises to the Lord!
(33) [Sing praises] to Him Who rides upon the heavens, the ancient heavens; behold, He sends forth His voice, His mighty voice.
(34) Ascribe power and strength to God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength and might are in the skies.

(35) O God, awe-inspiring, profoundly impressive, and terrible are You out of Your holy places; the God of Israel Himself gives strength and fullness of might to His people. Blessed be God!

9. A KNEELING FIGURE

A kneeling figure – such a Holy attire

HE HEARS US. HE IS HERE — Psa 34:6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

A kneeling figure such a Holy attire

Yet so few to embrace this grade of fire

Somehow, so often… only in distance observed
Powerless without, yet still to be desired

Many a man to rise & fall
At the cost of kneeling – to a King or a fool

An idol brings low,
At the end of its rope

A king stretches forth His hand,
To the one serving his command

So are the hours spent in prayer
or in this World’s disarray…

TO serve the purpose & the plan

Of the one…

OR THE ONE;

Who received his plea.

(9) O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.

(10) The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.

(11) Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.

(12) What man is he who desires life and longs for many days, that he may see good?
(13) Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
(14) Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!

(15) The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry.
(16) The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. [1Pe_3:10-12]

(17) When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.
(18) The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.
(19) Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
(20) He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
(21) Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned.

(22) The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.

7. EMBRACING THE GIFT – COMMUNION 1

The cup of blessing [of wine at the Lord's Supper] upon which we ask [God's] blessing,

WE ARE INVITED TO TAKE PART IN COMMUNION AS OFTEN AS WE CAN

The Father invites us to His table for COMMUNION; to commune with Him and spend time in His Presence. His Divine presence entails perfect unison with our Trinity God, undeserved grace, unconditional love, surpassing peace, unmerited forgiveness, strengthening joy & blood-bought healing… He invites us to bring every ailment and worry, disease and quest and lay it before Him, as often as we need.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO RECEIVE & SO MUCH WE CAN GIVE

WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BRING OF OURSELVES IN THIS TIME OF INTIMACY WITH OUR GOD and THERE IS ALL OF GOD TO EMBRACE and RECEIVE

My husband & I have felt led to start having COMMUNION regularly in the evening, as we have received the revelation of His Table being laid for us to partake from, every moment of our existence. Understanding that God so LOVES US & that He gave us this prophetic symbol to ENTER INTO HIS PRESENCE through the RIGHT DOOR and to COME AND ENJOY the FATHER’S LOVE in order to find REVELATION on how to live our lives that will guide us to stay INSIDE HIS CIRCLE OF BLESSING and NOT open ourselves up … or wander outside the “boundary” of His Blessing.

ARE WE GOING TO KEEP THE FATHER WAITING AT THE TABLE?

(24) This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.
(25) Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.

REMEMBER ME

DONT FORGET WHAT I DID FOR YOU — REMEMBER ME

WHY WOULD WE USE COMMUNION EVER SO OFTEN?

Well just the mere thought of Jesus Christ, WANTING us TO REMEMBER HIM… make me think…. WOW … what a privilege to be able to have such a special connection with my God, that a symbolic action like communion can put us in such a SPECIAL intimate moment; where both parties share in the blessing and where all life, peace and joy can germinate from.

A VISION OF CHRIST’S ASCENSION

I saw in my spirit a vision of Christ… with Peter, John & Paul on the mountain of configuration. As the cloud ascended, Christ holds His hand out in a very affectionate way, in the same way that you and I probably would have done, if it were us going away FOR EVER… I saw Him doing this while He was voicing a last request down to His creation:

” DON’T forget ME! REMEMBER ME! REMEMBER ME! DONT FORGET ME! “

I saw a tear… and then a desperate urgency in His Spirit… BECAUSE He knew IF WE WILL FORGET HIM…. OUR SOULS WILL END IN HELL and our lives WILL BE hell ON EARTH

Communion: The cup of blessing at the Lord's Supper upon which we ask God's blessing — COMMUNION at the Feet of the Cross

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO DRINK & EAT FROM HIS COMMUNION TABLE?

1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing [of wine at the Lord’s Supper] upon which we ask [God’s] blessing, does it not mean [that in drinking it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the BLOOD of Christ (the Messiah)?

The bread which we break, does it not mean [that in eating it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the BODY of Christ?

EMBRACE THE GIFT THROUGH COMMUNION

We are encouraged to EMBRACE the WORK of the CROSS; ALL THAT CHRIST DID FOR US, on a REGULAR BASIS.

Communion, symbolizing His PERFECT REDEMPTIVE WORK to reunite us with the Father.

TO PARTAKE IN COMMUNION IS OUR ULTIMATE SOLUTION and should be our CONSTANT RESOLUTION in these days.

At the end, all we truly need and can depend on IS His PERFECT SACRIFICE (God requires NONE MORE); His BODY that was broken for us and His Blood shed IS that perfect sacrifice justifying us FOR ETERNAL SALVATION and ETERNAL REDEMPTION. We are therefore FOREVER IN RIGHT STANDING with God because of the FORGIVENESS, LIFE and POWER of the BLOOD.

THIS will work for us ONLY if we UNDERSTAND & EMBRACE the GIFT

CHRIST DID EVERYTHING necessary for us to be able to live in GOD’S GRACE, PEACE and PRESENCE.

ALL that we need to do is to EMBRACE it and BRING IT INTO OUR HEART OF HEART’S FAITH, by DISCERNING HIM, HIS SACRIFICE AND ETERNAL VICTORY; by TAKING COMMUNION.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO “DISCERN HIS BODY and HIS BLOOD”?

IT MEANS to take time at the feet of the Cross while giving the Holy Spirit an opportunity TO IMPRESS on our hearts the COMPLETE VICTORY OF THE CROSS, OVER the GRAVE and HELL and to make it your own.
Here we are to COMPREHEND & APPRECIATE the FULL IMPACT of HIS RESURRECTION and the MAGNIFICENCE of HIS ASCENSION where HE IS NOW SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER; INTERCEDING FOR US CONTINUALLY.
Discerning His Body and Blood…

should lead to a cognizant state; of being in UTMOST FAITH, UNWAVERING TRUST, UTMOST RELIANCE and UNYIELDING HOPE IN OUR GOD…. WHO WOULD NEVER forsake or leave us at the mercy of HIS adversary. (Read Ps. 91, 23, 121… aloud)

TO DISCERN HIS BODY & BLOOD IS TO KNOW:

He is fighting for us
He is NOT against us BUT FOR US!
HE is the Eternal GOD of Glory, Creator of the Universe…!! also living IN US… !
He is VERY, VERY NEARBY… AS FAR AS YOUR WORDS OF FAITH PROCEEDING FROM YOU OWN MOUTH

A CHILD’S PRAYER

Be humble enough to listen to a child’s prayer. A child’s Innocent Prayer, praying by the revelation of the Holy Spirit – without even knowing it – make you realize how much there is… HOW CLOSE GOD IS:

Receive His communion with you ... by FAITH like a child — **Luk_18:17 Truly I say to you, whoever does not accept and receive and welcome the kingdom of God like a little child [does] shall not in any way enter it [at all].**

Are there, fear, worries and stress in your life?
Then TAKE COMMUNION!

Is there thankfulness, joy, abundance and peace in your life?

Does uncertainty, heart-ache and feelings of rejection taring you apart?

IMPORTANT Note on COMMUNION:

What does it mean to drink in an ” UNWORTHY MANNER “

– This when you take communion without knowing why you do it,

– or when you take it in a ritualistic way… NOT DISCERNING Christ / Not understanding what Christ did for us on th Cross

– Also as in Bible times, they indulged on the wine… and ate the bread out of hunger.

We TAKE COMMUNION out of REMEMBRANCE of Christ’s Perfect Work on the Cross:

– setting us completely free from th kingdom of darkness… He brought us into His marvellous Kingdom of Light through complete forgiveness of our sins and redeeming us back to the Father into a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP FOR ALL ETERNITY AS WE RECEIVE CHRIST AS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR….

8. NO LIMITS IN PRAYER

CONCLUSION:

As you look down on that marked peace of BREAD in your hand & taste the sweet WINE in your mouth… REMEMBER HIM!

REMEMBER that IT ALL revolves around His LIFE, RESURRECTION & ASCENSION…. it all boils down to WHO HE IS. HE IS the beginning & HE IS the end of all things.

And that our prayer should keep Him in the center and our Focus to stay on the VICTORY on the Cross.

Speak to the problem about God & not the other way round

6. TESTIMONY – Having A SWORD IN YOUR MOUTH

— Having a SWORD IN YOUR MOUTH

…is to RECEIVE a WORD, a PHRASE, a VISION, a DREAM or a SCRIPTURE from the Holy Spirit for a specific situation and to be used as your SPIRITUAL WEAPON.

By having a sword in your mouth that comes from Him, WHO KNOWS ALL THINGS, is to have the very WORD of the LIVING GOD, WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF.

THIS IS A DIVINE INTERVENTION of heaven into the issue at hand. AMEN!!

It introduces THE POWER of THE SWORD into any given situation. THIS is the DIVINE WRITTEN WORD of GOD, taken as your weapon of warfare & authority, to be DECLARED INTO a situation, at a given KAIROS moment in time; RELEASED & ENDORCED BY the POWER of His Name.(1)

— SCRIPTURE as a SWORD in your mouth WILL BE USED as a very POWERFUL CREATIVE FORCE(2).

It will either be driven into the root & sting of the matter; to disperse it into nothingness: – being annulled, being cancelled and declared null & void of any power or effect.

This SWORD in your mouth, will be empowered by HEAVEN’S MANDATE of the LIVING WORD of GOD; Who is JESUS Christ – our CREATOR GOD, to create & bring about something new:-

“On earth, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN”

BACKGROUND TO the TESTIMONY at hand:

A couple of years ago… I woke up one morning with an urgency in my spirit to read the WORD out loud. The Holy Spirit led me to Ps68 and I felt prompted to read it over & over as if Holy Spirit encouraged me to memorize it.

It come into my spirit that this was a very specific WORD for OUR Business.

Getting to my office, I was immediately prompted to open my Emails. Previously, this has not been my priority on arrival .

I was drawn to an email from a friend informing about the ” Ides of March “ https://fatherslove.co.za/multimedia-archive/beware-the-ides-of-march/

This email encouraged Business People to seek God’s face for specific Scripture to pray for their business’ protection.

Well, needless to say, I was so enthralled by the experience of having my Father already leading me to this very powerful Scripture – to use for this identical situation. I immediately realized that this is not just another moment, but God intervening somewhere in our lives and business without us even realizing exactly where, when, how & why.

God has taken the “time” to engage with us re. our business… a very earthly matter! His omniscient existence looked into our personal KAIROS MOMENT; to intervene through His written word.

As it was released on earth through the power of the tongue – becoming the SPOKEN WORD into a KAIROS MOMENT in OUR TIME DIMENTION – to engage with heaven in releasing His Divine protection, foreknown.

This was one of the most awesome moments in my life… realizing HOW CLOSE these dimensions are and HOW NEAR MY FATHER IS to me…

HAVING A SWORD IN YOUR MOUTH & TO USE IT

A few weeks later while I was preparing to go to the office… I again felt a very strong prompting in my spirit to PRAY PS68 OUT LOUD. This had to be done while preparing for work & running the last chores before running to the office… BUT the conviction was so strong that I just kept on reading… even in between the mirror & the kitchen, the stove & the wardrobe…

THE ‘SWORD OF THE WORD’ HAD TO BE RELEASED

I read through Ps68 about 2-4 times… again not having a clue what this was all about… JUST STAIGHT FORWARD OBEDIENCE to the PROMPTING of the Holy Spirit.

TESTIMONY

That same morning at about 11h, my husband phoned me with the news that one of our timber trucks has had problems with its breaks. This incident happened while the truck came down the mountain with a full load of timber when the vehicle’s breaks failed.

By His grace …

It happened at a spot where the truck was not in danger & the driver kept his head. The incident took place literally in the cradle of the valley, where the vehicle could role to and fro until it got to a stand still. With only the load of timber that came loose off the truck on the side of the road and very neatly positioned it also did not cause any harm to oncoming traffic. All the timber could be salvaged very easily. There was no significant damage & nobody got hurt.

We were so thankful and in awe of His gracious hand of protection over all involved.

PRAISE to our God!

RHETORICAL QUESTIONS:

WHAT would have happened if GOD did NOT give me that SWORD in my mouth the previous time AS well as this specific morning?

WHAT would have happened if I did not obey?

DO we understand what happens when we PRAY the WORD out loud? (3)

CONCLUSION:

The SPOKEN WORD releases the HEAVENLY MANNA; the “WORD” that CAME to BECOME FLESH.

CHRIST is THE ULTIMATE TRUTH versus EARTHLY REALITIES.

He is the REAL MANIFESTED WORD, the Son of the Living God… FOR EVER SPEAKING!

CHRIST HIMSELF ARE “INVOKED” in ALL the FULLNESS with which HE FILLS all things(4), into our lives to perform HIS POWER and GRACE on our behalf(5)… AS WE DECLARE HIS ” I am”… BACK TO HIM

TO ME…

THIS IS GOD HIMSELF STANDING IN THE GAP & DOING WHAT HE SAID IN HIS WORD THAT HE WILL DO FOR US. MY GOD AT WORK FOR HIS CHILDREN. THIS IS TO ME OUR GOD BEING WHO HE SAID HE IS.

5. A VISION : TRANSPORTED – THREE BATHS in HEAVEN

I had a vision about THREE BATHS in HEAVEN….

The vision had 4 sections:

THREE BATHS OF HIS BLOOD in HEAVEN

THE RIVER of LIFE TRANSPORTING US TO HEAVEN

THE SEA of GLASS

THE FATHER’S TABLE

THROUGH THIS VISION WE ARE COMFORTED & CHALLENGED:

All of us have been given a chance to JUMP into that River of LIFE…

Giving us a new start DAILY… transporting us to A PLACE OF FINDING HIS GRACE ( Hebr.4)… being washed by the Blood of the LAMB daily…

To see our Father’s love & to dance before His throne… to feast at His Table because of the Blood of the Lamb… being washed in the three baths in Heaven

Is your PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE BEEN WASHED in the three baths in Heaven?

“Every time somebody comes to draw near to Me; to draw near to my Father, I come closer.”

As you approach the three baths in Heaven,

these baths are filled up with My Robe dipped in My blood, and we wash you.”

” I come with the POWER of the Blood and I wash you and cover you with MY TESTIMONY. I cover you with My Life, I cover you with everything that I Am.

And as you go to the Father, I present you to the Father as Holy, Righteous and Pure because of the washing in the Power of My blood.”

” He met me the minute that I drew near and He covered me with His blood;

We are again reminded here that… the blood that speaks from the Mercy Seat on the one side and the Blood that is dripping from His Robe – the Robe that is dipped, dipped… in Blood.”

HE IS WAITING TO EMBRACE US – EVERY TIME, EVERY MOMENT WE DRAW NEAR…

Heb 4:16

“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].”

3. NO WILDERNESS DEATH – TRUST GOD!

FROM THE BEGINNING OF TIME …

From Adam’s plight to Christ’s RISEN SITE, it has always been man’s biggest quest TO TRUST GOD

Therefore…

IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT SOARING THE ‘HIGHS’

& TRUSTING THROUGH THE ‘LOWS’

BUT

‘THE STAND’ IN PEACE

WALKING IN FAITH

-EVERY SINGLE MOMENT; KEEPING ON EVERY DAY…

THE ABIDING, ABIDING…

TRUSTING GOD UNCONDITIONALLY

‘THAT WILL GET US THERE’

AS WE ARE SOAKED IN GRACE

GRACE – WHO IS CHRIST

MEDITATION:

Where you are right now in your life, God promises to BE AND GO with you.

THEREFORE WE CAN TRUST GOD

HIS Name is JEHOVAH SHAMAH – The God Who Is Here & Who is ALREADY There Where you are going

HE IS NOT A MAN THAT HE CAN LIE

HE CANNOT GO AGAINST WHO HE SAID HE IS

THERE IS A PREREQUISITE :

IF WE WILL TRUST HIM and DO NOT FEAR;

IF WE WILL BELIEVE !

IF WE DO NOT REBEL AGAINST HIM – THINKING WE KNOW BETTER

For how long must our Father still keep on, trying to convince us of His LOVE & all surpassing wisdom on our behalf?

For how long will we keep on rebelling AGAINST THE ROAD HE CHOOSES FOR US TO WALK & THE PLACE OF OUR PROMISE; knowing He knows best.

WHAT DOES HE SEES… THAT I AM MISSING…?

Straight road or narrow road, high road or valley trotting… there is everywhere a ‘risk’, a challenge… a curve to negotiate… even when it seems to me the perfect way to be

Only He has foresight will then be able to taking us then on the best path.

WHY DO WE STILL STRUGGLE TO TRUST GOD?

Through all that we have been through in our lives… NOT ONCE can we truly say God did not come through for us or left us to be on our own… unless we have rejected Him or stopped believing?

SCRIPTURE READING

Num 14:6-9

6 Joshua and Caleb, among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes;

7 and they spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.

8 If the LORD delights in us, then HE will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’

9 Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us.

Do not fear them.”

Num 14:10-11

11 Then the LORD said to Moses:

“How long will these people reject Me?

And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?

Num 14:18-23

20 Then the LORD said: “I have pardoned, according to your word;

21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD—

22 because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice,

23 they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.

Num 14:24

24 But My servant Caleb, BECAUSE HE HAS A DIFFERENT SPIRIT IN HIM and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.

Num 14:30-32

30 Except for Caleb and Joshua, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.

31 But your little ones, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised.

I gather – by the next verse – ” TO TRUST GOD ” is what He really wants us to do & TO HAVE FAITH in HIM

Num 14:34

34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My rejection.

Num 14:38

38 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive, of the men who went to spy out the land

Conclusion:

MANY OF US HAVE EXPERIENCED a sence of REJECTION through our lives

Was this not maybe because of our own doing?

Was this perhaps because we chose BY DEFAULT to distrust GOD & therefore experienced a loss of LOVE & COMFORT?

Through Christ ALL things were made NEW – this means

WE HAVE BEEN RESTORED TO OUR FATHER’S LOVE ETERNALLY

HAVE YOU PERHAPS FORFEITED THIS PLACE OF PEACE & ACCEPTANCE

Because you withdrew from Him?

Because we have stopped TO TRUST GOD?
