26 Saturday Devotions – 14.2.2026
For those of us who have been waiting a very long, long time!
The Grace in Time taken to Reform us
As I was spending time with the Lord this morning, as my usual preference is on Saturdays – just visiting with the Lord and enjoying an authentic, tangible time with Him, having no agenda, just conversing with the Lord as the Spirit leads – my eyes glimpsed for a mere moment at a drawing that I drew in December of a leopard lying on a tree trunk.
This instantly quickened in my spirit the inspiration to draw just the face of a leopard, now separately and in more detail.
That idea immediately got my full attention. Seeing in my spirit how the full face of the leopard, with all its detailed features, will unfold before my eyes. As if I was seeing G-d’s hand moving over the leopard’s face, creating it step by step.
This all happened in the backdrop of intently seeking the Lord’s face earlier this morning.
He gave me Psalm 69:5-6 where David was bringing his foolishness, his folly & blundering before the Lord.
This Scripture emphasizes David’s full understanding & acknowledgment that his sins & his guilt is not hidden from the Lord.
Asking G-d, that those who wait & hope on the Lord must please not be put to shame through him (David’s sin). Or be brought to confusion or dishonor through these blunderings throughout his life’s span.
Some thoughts on the Scripture above:
Our own hypocrisy sometimes slip our own gaze so easily & conveniently… also then even to see the blunder or bulk in the eye of others so much ‘easier & clearly’…
Have mercy on us, Father. Forgive. For we are sinning. Still !!!
We have to discover the life-changing blessings there are hidden in the act of repentance. Freely humbling ourselves before God & embracing seeing ourselves in the mirror of the Scriptures. Accepting responsibility for our erring and come in transparency before God & another to find the mystery of ‘forgiveness given & forgiveness received’ playing out in our lives.
This ultimate wealth of discoveries, once hidden to our spiritual eyes, but now to be found in a simple act of humility, forgiveness and letting go of ‘self preservation & self protection’.
This is the message of the cross of Christ. The taking up… & letting go…
The Resemblance of G-d incorporated As He Creates the Image of His Creatures
As I was going further through my day, I continued asking G-d some questions. Waiting on Him to quicken some revelation & insight in my spirit . Also praying for situations that need to break through in people’s lives with whom we’ve been praying for a couple of years now.
IN my spirit I next saw a resemblance of a face (of G-d) behind the leopard’s face.
As if He duplicated some significance of Himself in the face of the Leopard. With much patience and intention. Almost to show me the detailed process it requires as He was creating & forming the face of the leopard.
The next thought popped into my spirit… as if the Lord said to me,
” I takes time to reveal My face, upon this earth. It takes time to imprint Myself in you…“
For I have to transpose you and reform you. Remake you, restore & re-align you. Re-equip you. I have to transform you into the image of the Lord, My Son,… your Lord. The Son of G-d, Who created you.
That, when I come for My Bride, you will look like Me, in spirit. Renewed & redeemed in spirit, soul & flesh.
It takes time for Me to reform you by My Holy Spirit, into My image, nature, character… Forming My covenant requirements in you. My promises & blessings to be bestowed upon & in My children’s hearts.
To remodel what sin has defiled in you. To re-arrange you into My image & ECHO my will.“
Father,
we now then come to bring our own folly, desertedness from Your wisdom & ways, … full of self, to You.
We thank You for the Blood of the Lamb & Your stripes that speak life & bring healing to our brokenness. The Blood that sets us free from self. Helping us to get over ourselves.
We eagerly await and seek You alone to reform this wretchedness into the image & character of our Creator.
To be unto Your desire, unto the Father’s will for us, for You.
All things are made by You, for You, unto You.
By Your grace upon grace.
Amen and amen
Scriptures:
Psa 69:5-9
(5) O G-d, You know my folly and blundering; my sins and my guilt are not hidden from You.
(6) Let not those who wait and hope and look for You, O Lord of hosts, be put to shame through me; let not those who seek and inquire for and require You [as their vital necessity] be brought to confusion and dishonor through me, O G-d of Israel.
(7) Because for Your sake I have borne taunt and reproach; confusion and shame have covered my face.
(8) I have become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to my mother’s children. [Joh 7:3-5]
(9) For zeal for Your house has eaten me up, and the reproaches and insults of those who reproach and insult You have fallen upon me. [Joh 2:17; Rom 15:3]
Heb_2:9
But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of G-d [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person.
Heb_4:16
Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of G-d’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
Heb_10:29
How much worse (sterner and heavier) punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and [thus] trampled underfoot the Son of G-d, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of G-d)? [Exo_24:8]
Heb_12:15
Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure G-d’s grace (His unmerited favor and spiritual blessing), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness, or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment, and the many become contaminated and defiled by it–
Heb_13:9
Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (G-d’s favor and spiritual blessing) and not [to be devoted to] foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no [spiritual] benefit or profit to those who observe them.
Jas_4:6
But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, G-d sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it). [Pro_3:34]
1Pe_1:2
Who were chosen and foreknown by G-d the Father and consecrated (sanctified, made holy) by the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and to be sprinkled with [His] blood: May grace (spiritual blessing) and peace be given you in increasing abundance [that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts].
1Pe_1:13
So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.
1Pe_4:10
As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of G-d’s many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor].
1Pe_5:5
Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)–[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel].
Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For G-d sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)–[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. [Pro_3:34]
Final Blessing & Exhortation
2Pe_1:2
May grace (G-d’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of G-d and of Jesus our Lord.
2Pe_3:18
But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!
2Jn_1:3
Grace (spiritual blessing), mercy, and [soul] peace will be with us, from G-d the Father and from Jesus Christ (the Messiah), the Father’s Son, in all sincerity (truth) and love.
Rev_1:4
John to the seven assemblies (churches) that are in Asia: May grace (G-d’s unmerited favor) be granted to you and spiritual peace (the peace of Christ’s kingdom) from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come, and from the seven Spirits [the sevenfold Holy Spirit] before His throne, [Isa_11:2]
