AS we ‘believe’ THROUGH Christ unto faith, the Testimony ‘OF’ Christ will flow justly from our lips.
IT is of utmost importance to start our faith, faith conversations & declarations from the entry point of Christ’s pre-eminence. We know a lot about Christ by now, but our faith should rest on HIS righteousness.
THAT is our starting point, our positioning, alignment & reference in worship before our Holy God & Father.
THIS sets us free, for once & for all from any vain temptation to assert anything out of our carnal understanding and/or works of righteousness.
IN this world people are constantly trying to prove that they are right, or more “right” than others.
Even amongst Believers in Christ as if our human efforts can attain any righteousness before a HOLY God.
IN Christ’s righteousness we have all been levelled on the same plane field.
JESUS’S HUMANITY was primarily to come as the Lamb of God, to take away the sins of this world.
He is to us the complete fulness, image & personification of the Father’s love, grace, salvation & truth. ONLY Christ is perfect in righteousness.
Joh 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
HE PROCURED the redemption of all of mankind through a mission that our Trinity God; Father, Son & the Holy Spirit were part of from the beginning of creation.
Gen1:1
Starts with, “In the Beginning”. According to Hebrew scholars, Christ’s death & complete redemption plan [resurrection, ascension & Holy Spirit’s descending] was already prophesied in these 1st words.
EVERYTHING was created through Him, by Him, for Him; including you & I.
Everything He entrusted to us; all the gifts, talents & everything that He has destined in & through my life was predestined before the beginning of time to bring Him all glory & honour. Even the struggles, trials & pain.
Col 1:15 – 17
(15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
(16) For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
(17) And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Col 2:9-10
(9) For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
(10) and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Our Testimony of Christ Has To Come From Hearing Unto Faith
Joh 5:24
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
MERE KNOWLEDGE has to join with the insight from the Holy Spirit of the Christ; for us to have a secured revelation of Him unto faith.
When we speak from our own flesh, intellect &/or reasonings we speak words of doubt; nullifying our once uttered declarations of faith. (1 John 5:10-11)
Christ’s Testimony About Himself
Through His life & ministry He revealed the Father to us. He never did anything that the Father did not initiate. HE did not seek His own will. He trusted fully on the witness of the Father in & through Him of Who He Is.
Joh 5:30-32
(30) I can of Myself do nothing…. because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. (31) “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.
(32) There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.
The Witness of the Father About Christ
Joh 3:35-36
(35) The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
Joh 5:36-37
(37) And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me.
Col 1:19-20
(19) For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
PRAYER
FATHER God,
words cannot do justice to the greatness of the Son.
As Christ’s pre-eminence is before us, we humble ourselves in awe of You & Your great masterplan.
Thank You,
for such great hope in the eternal redemption unto fulness of purpose & destiny through Your great love of all things created.
We do not seek our own will, but the will of the Father to be revealed through us unto Your glory & Praise.
Grants us then the witness of even more faith, hope & abundant life within through Your Spirit that the challenges of these days may find its rest on the secured witness from our lips unto glory, faith & praise of WHO you ARE.
