52. Prayer @ The GATES Initiative Released

Good day all BELIEVERS in CHRIST – RSA

PRAYER @ THE GATES

7 x 1 HOUR Prayer

I hereby submit a PRAYER STRATEGY that can be released at will into faith communities, to Church Leaders & Spiritual Elders of your town/city/village/ suburb…and in your area.
[I will use our town as example:]

PRAYER @ THE GATES
14 April – 26 May 2024

The Lord released this PRAYER strategy for the 7 x Sundays before the elections.

With the continuous prayer for the elections that is initiated from the apparent 40 different platforms in the country, the Lord is calling us to account and pray for this nation’s condition.
Is 59-62

Our God has His plan for South Africa, to become the nation that He has destined it to be from the beginning of time… in order for Him to be hailed as the only true God of this nation… to receive all the honor and glory. He is the Creator, Savior and Redeemer of this Nation.

Zec 3:9-10

(9) For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ Says the LORD of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
(10) In that day,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.’ “

There is a great testimony of the previous time when the Lord instructed us to pray at the “Gates” of Tzaneen. It had a paralyzing effect on the hostility & eminent anarchy that was embarking on our streets to disrupt the peace in our town. And as yet we have to keep on praying continuously and keep on standing in the gap… while we ourselves come in unison to stand together as one, as Christ and the Father are One. (Jhn 17)

Mat 7:13-14 (MSG)

(13)  “Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do.
(14)  The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention.

Would you be able to take this further from your church/faith group/ fellowship side…?

It would be wonderful if the different Christ Faith Churches/fellowships could initiate it from their own groups as we could do this together at liberty to do as you are led.

1Ti 2:1-6

(1)  Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
(2)  for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
(3)  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
(4)  who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(5)  For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
(6)  who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

SUGGESTED STRATEGY

Starting on Sunday the 14th of April and ending on the seventh Sunday, the 26th of May.

WHEN:

1. Identify the (7) Gates around your town/city/area. (Marked on a map if applicable)

Jos 1:3-6 Let the church as part of the commonwealth of Israel take up their position.
(3)  Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses.
(6)  Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

2. Appoint a responsible person/facilitator for each Gate you would man for each Sunday.

In order for mobilizing, overseeing and feedback, and ask them to invite people to join them at assembly points.

1Ti 2:8
(8)  I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, without anger or quarreling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands.

3. Identify the specific gate where you want to pray.

Motivate people to identify the gate where they would like to attend and ask all to invite everyone on their media platforms to partake.

Psa 122:6  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
Jer 29:7  And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.

4. Identify the ASSEMBLY point

Assembly points to be identified together with the responsible person. They need to have peace about the spot.

Tzaneen: We will communicate the assembly points at the specific gates in Tzaneen via WhatsApp and on a next blogpost.

In all other places responsible persons need to communicate the specific assembly points with the people in their group

5. Prayer Points – will be prepared for every Sunday.

Specific strategic prayer points will be posted on a blog post for those relating back to me. But all is welcome to use their own…

There are 8 different spheres in society that makes it easier to know what to pray for.

For this Prayer initiative we can symbolically call it “Gates” in society.

Significant national & municipal landmarks for the EIGHT spheres in society can be identified along these spheres in society:

1. Family & Residential gate: suburbs, street, town, village and/or house.

2. Religious gate: Churches and places of worship (Acts3:2)

3. Governmental gate: Places of legislation and law: parliament, Union buildings,… all Courts, police stations, municipalities…

4. Education gates: universities, colleges, schools…

5. Business & commerce gates: JSE, places of commerce, banks…

6. Science & Technology gates: medical , science & engineering, (CSSR, chemists, hospitals, blood banks & clinics) … (Acts5:2)

7. Art & Culture gates: monuments, memorials…altars, rituals and ceremonies

8. Media gate: all forms and sections of media

ASSISTANCE & LEGALITIES

If possible organize a legalized security/assistance vehicle in case of any emergency for you’re your area.

I don’t know if this is necessary to arrange anything with the local municipalities for it is NOT a march.?

Mat 7:13-14
(13)  “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
(14)  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

PURPOSED OUTCOME:

This is for the safety, future destiny, Divine plan and peace in our nation… and in our homes eventually!

Mic 2:12-13
(12)  “I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together like sheep of the fold, Like a flock in the midst of their pasture; They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.
(13)  The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate, And go out by it; Their king will pass before them, With the LORD at their head.”

We hereby will release the BANNER of GOD’s NAME over this nation and put HIS NAME’S STAKE in the ground as we repent and ask God “to heal our land” :

  • Symbolically we put our feet on the ground to pray and declare His name over our towns and nation – for His righteous Kingdom rule to be established in our nation. (Joshua 1:3, Ps. 89:14)
  • The Body of Christ to rise up in unity to be one in God (John 17)
  • Declarations & repentance unto salvation & eternal life only found in the truth of the Good News Gospel of Christ into our area & nation: Christ’s Blood speak forgiveness unto LIFE, NOT death! People to turn back to God their Father and Lord.
  • As we humble ourselves and come in heartfelt repentance, the Lord forgives our sins and cleans us unto redemption. We can therefore come boldly to the Throne of grace to receive mercy in this hour as we stand in the GAP – on the rampart of the walls of our nation. The perfect price Christ paid for our redemption; – for nations, tribes & tongues redeems us back to the Father. (Heb 9&10)
  • AS with Jericho we come together to release the Sound of the Almighty’s Voice (Shofar) over the area – releasing His REIGN and victory over sin and darkness. (Josh 6:4, Judges 7)
  • Anoint the roads with the oil/salt as symbol of HIS cleansing, protection, preservation and His PRESENCE we desire to hover over our Nation. (Is 21 & Dan 9)
  • We pray the End time purposes and plans of God to be established by His mighty working power – by His right hand – for ourselves, Body of Christ, our towns, country areas and nation.

Rev 22:12-13
(12)  “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
(13)  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Nail your STAKE on the mountain of God TODAY by FAITH!

1. His PRESENCE ENSURES our SANCTIFICATION

“As we are SANCTIFIED by the Father, the truth about Jesus, our Lord is imparted through the Holy Spirit – to be received by FAITH. By Faith in Him – ‘things’ have to change!”

1.1 Sanctification comes by obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Joh 17:17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your WORD is truth.
1 Pe1:2 In sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience & sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.
1 Pe 1:7 that the genuineness of your faith,… tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, & glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Let us Pray for our sanctification: “Father we pray for:…”

  • Your Word of Truth to be honoured & restored as the key principle in people’s lives – as in Your church.
  • Sanctify me by the Blood of the Lamb – for obedience to Your voice.
  • That our children, the next generations,… will get a hunger for Your Word.

1.2 Sanctification – Let the church be SANCTIFIED – be rid of entanglement from the world – to do God’s will.

Heb 10:9-10
“BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.“ 10. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Jas 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Jas 4:10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Prayer of consecration: “Holy Spirit sanctify me”

  • I draw near, cleanse me of… Forgive me Holy Spirit for resisting your lead…
  • I humble myself in, I trust You to guide me in all things…
  • Like Christ I want to say, “Here I am Lord, to do Your will in all I am & will be.

1.3 Sanctification – REPENTANCE is our response.

Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (17) Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Rom 2:4
…the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, – knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance…

Let the ROYAL PRIESTHOOD of this day take responsibility and repent for :

our own sins… our family/bloodline, this part of the Body of Christ, local Body in community, province & nation…
Let us prepare a footstool for our God, right here!

Prayer of Repentance : “Forgive us Lord…”

  • Where Your Name have become a familiar byword on my tongue.
  • Where my own “things” & idols of the world have become more important than Your kingdom’s purposes, ways, worship of You and Your pre-eminence.
  • Where I have compromised your temple – my body & soul, thoughts & actions.
  • Where Your house of worship have been commercialized and humanized by the flesh’s weak commitments, sensation seeking, entertainment and lack of genuine faith.

2. His PRESENCE ensures TRANSFORMATION

“We are transformed into a “different”, “new man”/person as we encounter God’s Holy Spirit’s presence by Faith”

2.1 Transformation by ACKNOWLEDGING the Holy Spirit

“Let us be transformed by embracing and fully depend on the Holy Spirit.“

Rev 22:17
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!”
Let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Rev 2:17
To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat.
And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.“

Prayer for transformation – “Jesus, thank you …”

  • For giving us the living water – the Holy Lamb of God!
  • We honor & acknowledge Your presence & pre-eminence within us! .
  • We welcome You, precious Spirit of the living God, be honored in this place today!
  • You are the One transforming our lives, living & service for Christ’s glory.
  • We declare our utter need, hunger and dependence – to be changed by Your overshadowing presence.

2.2 Transformation in YIELDING to His PROCESSES

“Let us be transformed through His process according to His purposes”

Act 2:38
Repent (change your views & purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) & be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

Eph 1:13-14 (13)
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel…& also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, (14) who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Prayer for transformation – “Father, we yield to Your transformation process”

  • Forgive us where we have followed our own plans… human counsel… idolatrous dictations of our mind, intellectual reasonings and flesh-comforts…
  • We yield to hear Your voice speak in obedience to Your counsel & discipline.
  • Thank you for sealing us to salvation & eternal redemption – enabling us to enter through the veil into Your presence by the Blood of Christ .(Heb10:19-21)

2.3 Transformation – EMBRACE the Holy Spirit’s presence

“Let the Body be transformed by embracing His presence in our lives!“

2Pe 1:3-4 His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him, … that you may be partakers of the divine nature.

Isa 11: 2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Psa 143:10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. 11. Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!

Prayer for Your transformation in us : “Precious Holy Spirit…”

  • Thank you for giving me all things leading to life and godliness… the divine nature of Christ… enabling me to be transformed into Christ’s likeness.
  • I receive and embrace You… the Spirit of God, Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and the fear & awe of God deep within me.
  • Teach me to follow You… Revive me Oh, God… ! For Your name and Your Word to be honored through my Life – my thoughts, words & conduct… “

3. His PRESENCE ensures His AUTHORITY

Fasten your STAKE by FAITH on the mountain of God!

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

3.1 AUTHORITY – For the sake of HIS KINGDOM’S REIGN

“Let us EMPLOY His authority for God’s NAME’s sake !”

Joh 5:27 (The Father) gave Christ authority to execute judgment because He is the Son of Man.

Christ has given us His authority – to execute it in HIS NAME…:

Mat 28: (18)
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
(19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,…
(20) teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;…

Luk 9:1 He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

Luk 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luk 19:17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

Pray therefore to take up your authority in Christ to go, and do His will!

3.2 AUTHORITY – All things under HIS SOVEREIGN RULE

“Let the Body of Christ RISE UP in power and strength of our God!”

Prayer of DECLARATION for His authority over the Body of Christ

Eph. 1:17-23
(17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
(18) the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
(19) and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (20) which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
(21) far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
(22) And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, (23) which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

4. His PRESENCE ensures HIS KINGDOM REFORM

SECURE your STAKE on the mountain TODAY by FAITH!
“KINGDOM reformation comes when the Holy Spirit is in full control of our lives.”

4.1 Kingdom reform ! BUILD YOUR KINGDOM, LORD !

Joh 17:21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Eph 2:20-22 (20) having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,
(21) in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, (22) in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit… as we abide in Him.

Lord, we pray for Your kingdom reform to come in this now kairos-season :

  • The Fivefold ministry of Christ to be rightly positioned & aligned for this season – honored and unconditionally administered through Your Church/Body of Christ.
  • To work where you work. To flow with Your Holy Spirit – to see Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven! Our eyes to see & be fixed on You.
  • We repent where we have withstood or disobeyed the reform in our lives.

4.2 Kingdom reform – only IN the PEACE of Christ!

“Let the Body of Christ follow after Christ… in His footsteps…“

PRAY for the Body of Christ to be aligned in Jesus, our Unifier:

  • Unity & peace amongst the churches/faith groups & leaders by Gods’ grace.
  • The will of God, hope & love to prevail in & through church communities…
  • Truth of Christ to be preached from the pulpits and lived out in the streets…!
  • Humility to release His authority through us as we yield to His Spirit.
  • Obedience to God’s ways, His prophetic precepts & Kingly protocols!
  • Righteousness, justice, mercy & truth to be at the core of our lives… (Ps89:14)
  • Revelation for every believer of their calling, His mighty working power.
  • Take up your authority as we are seated with Christ at the righthand of the Father… in Him Who is above all principalities and every other name!

5. HIS PRESENCE SHAPES our lives as we ENCOUNTER the Holy Spirit…

SUBMIT your STAKE on the mountain of God TODAY by FAITH!
“When we encounter God’s HOLY SPIRIT’S presence by faith all things have to change!”

5.1 ENABLED in encountering the Holy Sprit!

Num 27:16-18 (16)
“Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
(17) who may go out before them and go in before them, who may lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the LORD may not be like sheep which have no shepherd.“
(18) “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.

Prayer for all (our) spiritual leaders – Pastors,… to be:

  • Strengthened in God’s presence by a renewed imparted flow of the Holy Spirit.
  • Equipped by the Holy Spirit’s guidance, wisdom, authenticity and creativity in the Father’s unifying love.
  • Leading the Body of Christ in the empowered rest of God, as Christ is their Head and Chief to lead them in all things.
  • Facilitate transformation through His encountered presence, revelation, insight and JOY in each aspect of shepherding the flock.
  • Set apart for service through His anointing, by the power of the Holy Spirit that breaks the yoke & lighten the soul & flesh burdens.
  • Depending completely on Him – making the yoke easy.

5.2 HOLY SPIRIT ENCOUNTERS! – Holy Spirit move on Your church!

Prayer for the church/every believer: men, women, husbands, wives, children, grandchildren, youth… all ministries & services:

Pro 8:34 Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
Ps 68:19 Our God…Who daily loads us with His benefits.

As we ABIDE IN & have ENCOUNTERS with the Holy Spirit, we hear Him speak to us in a different way – “In the newness of the Holy Spirit! (Rom 7:6)

Let us pray for people to engage & be transformed by ENCOUNTERS in His presence that will change the atmosphere, situations and chaos around us.

Therefore, – ALLOW the Holy Spirit to touch your heart every day…

  • Repent of fear & binding self-preservation thoughts, faithless words,
    taxing habits & the “busyness” that keeps us from His presence…
  • Commit spending time with Him, who changes your life in His presence

6. Reflective Prophetic declarations!

“Let the prophetic voice of Christ declare the oracles of God
His presence executes His will, word & wisdom…“

6.1 Reflective Prophetic Declarations over the KINGDOM of God!

Let us declare together over Israel…, South Africa, Tzaneen, Body of Christ…:

Psa 102:12-18
(12) But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, And the remembrance of Your name is to all generations.
(13) You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time of her favor, Yes, the set time, has come.
(15) So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth Your glory.
(16) For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. (17) He shall regard the prayer of the destitute,…
(18) This will be written for the (next) generation(s) to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.

6.2 Reflective Prophetic Declarations for the CHURCH of God

TO STAND AND KEEP ON STANDING –
Eph 6:10-11

(10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil

DECLARATION:

It’s now the set time, the kairos moment for the CHURCH TO ARISE! Hallowed be the name of the Father! Hallelujah!.

  • We pray Your KINGDOM come! YOUR WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven!
  • We STAND our ground to discern between the holy & unholy, what’s right & wrong.
  • In THANKSGIVING & PRAISE we trust in Your faithfulness, provision & power.
  • We FORGIVE others as we are also then SET FREE! We receive Christ’s redemption.
  • We revere Your judgment & Your holiness. Don’t mock with the holiness of God.
  • We trust in Your guidance from temptation and protection from the evil one.

This is the hour for the sons & daughters of God to be revealed, Yours is the kingdom!
NOW is the time for the church to STAKE its final FAITH DECLARATION into the ground and let it count for Your power to change the world around us for Your glory.

7. STAKE YOUR own PROPHETIC declaration & TESTIMONY

Christ’s authority & power to be embraced & released over your life… the Church community… Tzaneen…. R.S.A. … today into the spiritual realm!

  • What is your testimony/declaration of Christ ?
    Pe 1:16:2 This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.“
  • What is your testimony/declaration about your God, Father & Creator, Healer, Provider, Protector…?
    Deu 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!
  • What is your testimony/prophetic declaration over your own life and sphere of influence…?
    Psa 103:4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
  • Your prophetic declaration about your household…?
    Psa 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children.
  • What is your prayer and prophetic declaration about your town, province and your Nation this year …2024?!
    Declarations for HIS LIGHT to bring TRANSFORMATION in our families, schools, town… & the 8 spheres of society in our nation..:

(19) And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts…

RECEIVE IN THIS DAY HIS HOLY SPIRIT INTO ALL AREAS OF YOUR LIFE & DESTINY. HE WILL BRING THE LIGHT OF CHRIST TO SHINE IN EVERY DARK PLACE!

Ps89 (14) Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. (15) Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.

50. Strategic Prayer for the Church & Nation

STRATEGIC PRAYER
for the Church and our Nation.
18.3.24

Trust that you are filled up with faith in our God.
Only He is good and worthy of all praise!.

Prayer for the CHURCH – the Body of Christ

  1. The church now to arise in prophetic intercession for RSA.

2. Believers/ leaders to be strengthened to take up their cross in Christ’s Name, pick up their mantels.

3. The influence of the church in this area to increase exponentially with the TRUTH and CHARACTER of Christ.

4. For godly characters to develop. Our characters need to develop to endure the process, enabling us to carry the gift that God has bestowed on us all.

Jer 1:9-10

(9)  Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
(10)  See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”

Prayer for our NATION – South Africa

  1. The TRUTH to be revealed – all lies and deception to be exposed.

2. The hidden agendas of all parties / leaders be exposed.

3. The electorate to be supernaturally educated about the true nature of their choices…

4. The YOUTH to be PROTECTED and GUIDED: taught about the true effect of their choices for these elections!

5. Families/church families to endure this next season – to stand strong in the Lord together full in FAITH, HOPE TRUST, and LOVE.

Psa 102:12-22

(12)  But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, And the remembrance of Your name to all generations.

(13)  You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.

(14)  For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And show favor to her dust.
(15)  So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth Your glory.
(16)  For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.
(17)  He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.
(18)  This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.

TESTIMONY of GOD’S ANGELS of PROTECTION WITH US

A powerful testimony of God’s protection over our lives that a dear school friend of mine shared with me… testifying that our God is alive and with us every moment, everywhere!

On Friday (1.3.24) at 16:00, she was driving towards Roodepoort from Kemptonpark and was waiting at a (broken) traffic light. She was the 3rd car on the London Road bridge waiting to turn right onto the offramp towards the highway.

In the right rearview mirror, she saw someone approaching her window, pulling out a weapon. There were also one or two at the passenger window to the left.

The man at her window demanded her valuables… and she heard and saw the weapon being armed… Stunned by the mere gravity of the moment and thinking about the reports in the media that you should rather just co-operate in situations like these, she opened her window halfway, and was on the point of handing over her wedding ring and phone, as he continued shouting, “Give it, give it, Granny, give it!”

Then, suddenly realizing that the car in front had started moving, she closed her window and at the same time drove off quickly… ducking for the gunshots that were surely to follow.
But nothing further happened…

She testifies that it was only by God’s grace that she was alerted to see the car in front moving, as she does not generally think on her feet. The decision to race off was not hers .

In retrospect, she realized that the 1 or 2 men at the passenger window had no weapons, were not shouting, and did not knock or try to open the door…
They were clothed in white…
It must have been angels…

We praise God together with her for this amazing testimony that could have been so much different if God had not intervened.

(10)  “And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.

Luke 15:10

(10)  Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Let us use this wonderful testimony to pray that more people will find Christ the Lord as their Savior and yield their life’s reign over to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Give Him a chance to show Himself credible in your life.

He is faithful! He is your God! The Father, the Son, your creator, and Savior…

He is the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit in your innermost being who lead you every step of the way as you yield to His pre-eminence within you.

Embrace Him today as the Lord of your life!

48. “Memo to the Called”

The pride of life & the things of this world forces its priority on us. Only as He is lifted on high all who wills to “see” will be drawn unto Him and He will be glorified! Hailed by all of creation! Worshipped as the Great I am !

Pride of Life…

Extreme is the task that lays ahead,
Gross the calamity of our flesh, soul and sinful dread,
Weaknesses that ensnares our path,
And, oh, the pride of life that tempts in our head.

Man of God…

Oh, man of God lay down your crown!
Rather dare to follow The Son instead
His ways are pure, His words are truth,
He speaks of love amongst many other gracious worth.

Before His Throne…

Have you yet considered the moment before His Throne?
When asked what did you do with love?
How many days was self your lead?
Now to reveal your recited self-righteous creed.

Feed His sheep…

Low we bow before Your greatness, Lord,
To lay down our crowns and sword,
How fallible our greatest speech,
And yet you send us to feed Your sheep.

Forgive us Lord…

Strengthen now our feeble knees,
Burn our lips with cleansing coals,
We want to make Your kingdom proud,
Not many days to sow Your Seed.

Only when Christ is lifted High…

So many still need to ‘see’ The Seed,
Grace in action our strongest feed,
His Blood was shed – not to be trample on,
Only when He is lifted up will more men come…

… In truthful worship at His feet.
